History, 50 years of experience at your service

1975

Founded by Michel Cinier in 1975, the company was originally an expert in installing heating & air conditioning systems.

1980

Alongside this business, invention of the first hot-water radiator installed inside the walls of homes.

1982/83

Development of a bespoke heating and cooling solution for Bordeaux wines. Innovation award at the SITIVI trade show.

1983-1990

Invention of the first stone “Sculpture” radiator. Research & development in partnership with the “École des Mines d’Alès” engineering school.

1990

Commercial launch of the first hot-water radiator in Olycale® stone, with an extraordinary artistic design.

1994

Launch of the first Cinier electric radiators in Olycale® stone.

1999

Stéphane Cinier joins the family company and expands the distribution network internationally.

2001 & 2002

Innovation Oscar for CINIER radiators in Olycale® stone (Interclima & Expotherm).

2002

Growth of export sales across Europe and Russia.

2006

Johanne Cinier, a designer for Givenchy in Paris and a painter, joins the family company to develop the exclusive “One-of-a-kind” collection. Launch of the BELLE EPOQUE collection.

2007-2009

Research and development to invent a new product that is greener, more efficient and more elegant in the field of heating and air conditioning: the Greenor®.

2010

International P.C.T patent for the Greenor® fan coil. Product launch in France at the Interclima trade show, and on the Norwegian and Swiss markets.

2011

February: official launch of the Greenor® in Russia (Aquatherm Moscow show) and Germany (ISH show).

2012

Launch of new exclusive CINIER towel warmers. Unveiled at the Swissbau trade show in Switzerland and Ideobain in Paris.

2013

Production of an exclusive collection of LED light fixtures. Unveiled at the Maison et Objet show in Paris and Equip’Hotel Paris.

2015

Launch of the CINIER 130 towel warmer collection (compact sizes). Creation of the Greenor® with LED option.

2016

Creation of the ROC and ROC LED radiator collection: radiators that combine heating with high-efficiency LED lighting.

2017

Creation of new iconic LED light fixture models: the bespoke Cascade de Miré in 3, 4 and 9 elements.

2018

Exhibited at the New York ICFF 2018, Salone Del Bagno in Milan and ART de VIVRE in Moscow.

2019

CINIER launches a new warm-air blower option for the towel warmer collection at ISH Frankfurt 2019 and ICFF New York 2019. Creation of a new floor lighting system: the LT Miré lighting collection.

2021 – 2023

Launch of the GREENOR XL, winner of the A’Design Award Platinum with this new product.

GREENOR XL wins the German Design Award 2023

Opening of a showroom in Shanghai.

New models in the Belle Epoque cast-iron collection and the ROC Cinier collection.

2024

Showcase a benefit of your productLaunch of new models in the “Contemporary radiators” collection: ALKHAT and BLACK EFFERVESCENCE.

Launch of the EMILE 3 model in the “Belle Epoque” collection.
